Format: One-day, in-person, hands-on training for colon and rectal surgery fellows.

Overview

This intensive workshop is designed for fellows who want to refine Hand-Assisted Laparoscopic Surgery (HALS) colectomy and Transanal Minimally Invasive Surgery (TAMIS) technique. The didactic sessions focus on shortening the learning curve, managing intraoperative complications, and advancing the MIS envelope. A blended agenda of expert presentations, cadaveric lab, simulation lab, and interactive Q&A ensures practical skill development and actionable takeaways. Travel expenses will be reimbursed; detailed guidelines are provided upon registration. Attendance is limited to 30 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
